We used to have a very interesting/intelligent group from Norway back in the day.

Maybe they will read this and give you a real answer.

coming from a florist and imagining the messages behind flowers.

just keep it simple . ie 2 dozen red roses is not a good idea.

a small wild flower bouquet in a simple maison jar with a hand writen note saying you enjoyed her company,

would bring a smile .

Her responce will tell you her feelings.

I just think we get so complecated from our upbringing, to the point of not even taking the risk of finding a Love.

I would have done the same thing as Ayesha's parents.

Cancer treatment is a Big Buisness in of itself. The hospitol Lied about avalible treatment for their son.

I read a very old book called I was a Medical Heritic. Writen by a Pediatrition.

He described the Medical profession like THe Church. [RC] . You do not question them!

Now with the internet, a person has access to information and are more informed.

As we do and that is why this forum is here.

Ah, I just have some anger issues in the 'god' area that have recently resurfaced.

Like losing many loved ones in the last few years and now again.

Silly because I am not a believer.

are you saying that because 'jesus/father/god 'died' for us, means he is a good father when he knew he could go back to heaven?

heck when I was a JW , I would have let the Doctors give my babies blood and let god/father whack me . Silly human that I am.

Most parents will take a hit for their children. Unless in a wierd cult. (hint)

War is sick and it saddens me that humans die over it.

A real father/god would not allow:

From a Brown Recluse spider, cancer, aids. to,

Children dying from starvation, when there is so much waste in other areas on this globe.

The wars fought in the name of a god/father.

Gender and child abuse.

Saposied books writen in a confusing way in his name and more killings.

etc.,etc. ..... forever!

Damn it, I, as a parent, would step in and stop this crap.

it's no secret that the wtbts has a cash flow problem.

over the past three years they have closed 20 of their 116 branches.

they have sold off most of their properties in and around ny (including some kingdom halls), drastically reduced the # of printed pages for the watchtower and awake magazines, reduced the printing of books and other materials, increased the number of single page tract campagnes, installed cc machines at their assembly halls, and are now seizing of controll of property assets from local kingdom halls using renovation projects.

Did anyone else feel the Nor Cal earthquake?

i got woken up by a very strong quake at 3:30 this morning.

it was 6.0 centered about ten miles from my house, up in napa, ca.

we had no damage, but it definitely gets you it of bed!

When I was about 7, we had one . I was in bed and thought saten was moving my bed around

Scared the crap out of me for weeks. Slept with the lights on and a green bible under pillow.

I finally told my mom what saten did, and she let me know we had an earthquake that night.

Watching local news now, Napa is a mess. Injuries too.

Checked in with The Family. All OK.

Downtown's oldest buiding ,1870 I think, has alot of damage, other historical buildings have sever damage too.

Are You Raising An Introvert?

its not easy being an introvert in an extrovert worldespecially when youre a kid.

it is even more difficult if none of the adults in the kids life recognize that the child is an introvert.

this doesnt happen only when the childs parents are extroverts, but also with introverted parents who have never understood their own introverted nature.. .

It is like a weight being lifted off my shoulders.

I'm not a freak...smile.

It's even OK that my Mother wont read anything about this.

It is what it is, and I am grateful for my cherished Friends and Family that understand me.

This information and all the thoughtful responces, changed the way I view myself.
